Experimental

Experimental music is avant-garde and unconventional compositions played with unconventional sounds, structures and timbres. Its sound often includes unusual combinations of instruments, electronic effects, noises and ambient elements. This style aims to break down traditional musical forms and find new ways of expression through sound. Experimental music can be abstract, challenging and sometimes even uncomfortable, but it opens up new horizons of perception and helps the listener to see music in a new light.

  • Techno scene continues to generate tracks with hard energy and experimental bias. One of such examples is “Jump” by Danny Waters. The composition balances between old-school brutality and modern club presentation.
  • In an era when techno is increasingly moving towards polish and gloss, releases like “Cyber-M” sound especially convincing. Russian producer Valera Unusov releases a mini-album on the Rhythm Resonance label, which combines the sharpness of RAW sound, dip and hypnotic immersion. This is not a set of tracks for a convenient mix - it is an independent statement, where each track works as a chapter of one futuristic story.
  • Four tracks - four chapters. “Vse Prosto:Deep Luv” by Valera Unusov is techno without falseness. Straightforward, dark, sexy. The EP sounds like a personal confession translated into the language of subs, loops and textures.
  • From the first beat, Dimensional Fold seems unhurried, but the tension only grows. Gregor Tresher and Petar Dundov once again venture into the dark zone of techno, where sound transforms into space.
  • Russian producer Valera Unusov releases the track “Lozhki I Svistulki” on the local label Rhythm Resonance — and immediately finds itself in the spotlight of the Deep / Raw / Hypnotic Techno scene. The release is featured by Beatport and lands on the genre section's front page alongside releases from Vault, Tresor, Hypnus, Emerald, and Symbolism.
  • EP “Haven of Lost Souls” by Valera Unusov feat. This Isn’t Techno™ is released as a dark instrument for the dance floor. First, there is a monotonous pulse. Then, dirty textures. Next, shapes that slowly distort. The result is a closed space consisting of four tracks.
